Ambassador Mustafa Osman Turan attended the handover ceremony of medical equipment provided by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) to support Bangladesh in fighting COVID-19 at State Guest House, Padma.

Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Additional Foreign Secretary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh received the equipment on behalf of the Government of Bangladesh.

TİKA provided one thousand N95 masks, one thousand PPE suits, two ventilator machines and five thousand medical masks to support Bangladesh. The equipment will be distributed to the relevant health institutions of Bangladesh in the upcoming days by the Bangladeshi authorities.

We are glad to be able to support Bangladesh in these difficult times caused by COVID-19 pandemic. Bilateral relations between our fraternal countries have undoubtedly taken a step further after today’s handover ceremony.
